Every day I see the effects of a media that attempts to teach women and girls that they are not enough and cannot trust themselves or each other. I feel so angry when I see our culture incite competition and isolation in women, who are naturally caring and communal. Thankfully, anger is a great motivator. It inspires action towards what I want for myself, my daughter and every woman I care about.

   

    I want my daughter to grow up with powerful role models. So I surround myself with women of courage, wisdom, compassion and delight, and I do my level best to be the woman I know I am.

   

    At Generations of Women, we are committed to the idea that every woman is her own authority, holds the answers to her own questions and in the speaking of her truth, creates a space where other women can hear their own. We return to our natural state of self-organic living through the ancient template of  women's circles and through the teaching of basic, powerful self-care practices.
